The purpose of this workshop is to gather researchers in selected areas of string theory and quantum gravity in order to share ideas and discuss recent developments.

This year, the workshop concentrates on the following topics:
 

·         - Geometric and quantum aspects of black holes

·         - Recent developments in holography

·         - Supergravity and its solutions

·         - Holographic entanglement

·         - Higher spins

          - Asymptotic and symplectic symmetries

We are pleased to announce the workshop " Recent Trends in String Theory and Related Topics" that will take place on 8 -11 of May 2017 at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM), Tehran, Iran ( http://physics.ipm.ac.ir/conferences/stringtheory2/index.jsp ).

Accommodation for early registrations is available at IPM guesthouse inside the campus. The fees for registration plus accommodation during the workshop days is fixed to 200 euros.
